Free Air Conditioner Sizing Software Download

 

Sizing software is available for use on a PC! This software makes it much easier to calculate your cooling needs.

What You Need
You need a PC running Microsoft Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98, ME, XP or Windows NT or 2000 and about one megabyte of disk space.

Instructions
You will need one or two files, depending on your system. You will need

  • The TECA Executable
  • The system file vbrun300.dll (your system may already have this)

If your system already has a file called vbrun300.dll, you do not need to download it. But if you are in doubt, you can download it for free.

Create a directory called TECA on your hard disk (usually C:). Save one of the following two files to the C:\TECA directory. 

Download

  • IMPORTANT: Create a directory named \TECA 

    In WINDOWS, use the Explorer,
  1. select the File pull down menu,
  2. select the New menu item,
  3. and select the Folder sub menu item.
  4. The new folder name should be TECA.


 
 

Single File:

TECA Executable

Or the Package:

(save to directory/folder \TECA ) (takes 53 seconds at 56.6bps, 1:45 min. at 28.8bps)

To install the package...

1. Select Start from the toolbar
2. Select the Run... menu item
3. Enter C:\TECA\INSTALL-TECA
4. Select the OK button.
5. The install program automatically extracts the package files.
6. Close the MS-DOS prompt window.
7. Using Windows Explorer, copy vbrun300.dll to the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory/folder.

To run the software...

Note: You are strongly urged to Save the program file(s) to your own system and verify it (them) with your virus checker. You are urged NOT to run the program directly from your browser. 

WINDOWS


Select Start from the toolbar
Select the Run... menu item
 

 

 

 


Enter C:\TECA\TECA
Select the OK button.
