Coldest Liquid Cooled Plate Updated with PWM Temperature Controller
TECA’s liquid cooled cold/hot plates, the LHP-1200CPV (single stage) and LHP-1200CAS (two and three stage cascade system) are recently updated to include a new PWM temperature controller. It includes fan speed control which enables the Cold/Hot Plates to slow the fans automatically, reducing noise, as the unit reaches its set point. Another added benefit is that there are now four independent PID settings for different temperature ranges. USB communication port is included and Labview VI examples are available.
The LHP-1200CPV is our largest liquid cooled cold/hot plate. The LHP-1200CAS Cascade System can be a two stage or a three stage system, where lower plates act as heat sinks for the plates above, allowing for very cold temperatures on the top plate. For example, the three stage LHP-1200C31 is capable of up to -90 °C ?T, the coldest capability of any of our cold plate systems.
Either product series has a high-temperature version for heating up to 90 °C and various input voltage options are available. TECA’s liquid-cooled cold/hot plates are ideal for direct-contact cooling and heating in R&D, quality control, manufacturing, laboratory and life science applications.
