Administrative Sales Assistant:

Our Administrative Sales Assistant will support the Inside Sales Lead and provide friendly and professional customer service to our customers. Our Administrative Sales Assistant will work closely with our Inside Sales Lead and our Accounting Manager to:

Description:
  • Maintain responsibility for pre-sales activities from quotation to receiving of purchase order. This includes preparing quotation documentation, follow up phone calls and emails, preparing internal Sales Order forms in response to customers’ Purchase Orders
  • Represent TECA in front line activities including answering phones, directing calls and helping customers with basic inquiries such as order status, shipping tracking numbers, etc.
  • Assist with repair requests from customers and related internal documentation
  • As needed, the Administrative Sales Assistant will be trained on creating shipping documentation, order invoices, filing, and other basic Accounts Receivable activities as they relate to customer service. This role is an entry-level position and is a great opportunity to learn inside sales. Our team is friendly and supportive with room to grow.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Work experience, particularly in sales and/or administrative duties
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Computer proficiency

Assembler / Order Picker:

Our Assembler / Order Picker is a dual responsibility role.  It will include responsibilities of assembling electrical components to shrouds and sub-assemblies to rack panels in preparation for final wiring.  It will also include picking parts needed for each work order that will be assembled.  You will be responsible for organizing the pick kit and placing it in the staging area.

Description:

Assembler:

  • Identify and use proper hand tools: screwdrivers, wrenches, crimpers, heat guns, riveting tools, nut drivers, wire strippers, etc.
  • Use handheld power drills to assemble parts onto shrouds
  • Mount parts on rack panels using proper mounting fixtures, screws and nuts, without stripping screws or damaging unit
  • Identify different electrical components: capacitors, resistors, rectifiers, etc.
  • Read drawings and follow assembly guidelines to determine correct parts and mounting hardware
  • Basic soldering skills
  • Inspect component parts prior to assembly

Order Picker:

  • Review pick lists to determine which parts are to be picked from stock
  • Create part kits for future production assembly by accurately pulling parts from shelves based on part numbers and quantity requirements and placing them in staging area
  • Maintain neat and orderly inventory when pulling components
  • Inspect component parts for defects or non-conformity and take appropriate action
  • Access inventory information on computer to check parts stock status
  • Perform related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years in an assembly / warehouse environment
  • Able to stand for duration of shift
  • Able to lift 50+ pounds
  • Required to stand, reach, and bend
  • Some technical and mechanical aptitude with ability to learn quickly
  • Communicate effectively, cooperate and participate positively as a team member
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and analyze needs
  • Detail & process oriented
