Technology
TECA air conditioners utilize thermoelectric cooling technology to protect enclosures. Thermoelectric air conditioners have no compressor and there are no filters to change. This virtually maintenance free, solid-state technology is therefore ideal for remote or hard to access locations. Environments we serve include NEMA-12, NEMA-4/4X, NEMA-4X/Harsh Environment and CID2/CIDI.
Performance
TECA offers solutions ranging in size from the AHP-250X model, 130 BTU/HR, to the AHP-6263X model which offers 5,660 BTU/HR. TECA is the only manufacturer that markets thermoelectric enclosure coolers above 3,200 BTU/HR.
Efficiency
Most TECA air conditioners include the “Eco-Mode” temperature control feature, in which passive cooling saves energy by limiting the need for active cooling. The unique Eco-Mode feature reduces the cost of operation for TECA air conditioners.
