A flow testing facility required precise heating and cooling of a NEMA-4 enclosure in an outdoor application. The customer’s NEMA-4 instrument box houses very sensitive transducers and data acquisition equipment.

TECA Model AHP-1200XEHC paired with the TC-3400 remote temperature controller protects the enclosure’s contents from extreme temperatures in the ambient. The customer can monitor and set the controller without opening the NEMA-4 enclosure. Custom programming achieves exact set points as specified by the customer. The sealed, industrial grade external fan allows for wash down of the enclosure and exposure to the outdoor environment, all while maintaining a closed loop system.

Video cameras needed to function in an environment beyond their rated temperature range.

One of our customers wanted to position cameras to observe a process from a location not safe for operators to go. The customer is a rubber manufacturer and the camera location was too hot for the cameras to work in. The customer had the cameras, but had no suitable enclosure, or cooling apparatus.

TECA adapted a tiny air conditioner based on Model AHP150XE to mount to a standard commercial enclosure. The package was completed by retrofitting the cameras with insulation and special cooling units. The design satisfied our customer’s needs to a “T”.

The FHP-590 Series thermoelectric air conditioner protects electronics equipment from ambient temperatures. Utilizing reliable Peltier cooling and heating technology, FHP-590 coolers protect electronic equipment controls, electrical equipment, outdoor railway cabinets, and other heat sensitive equipment.

For small to medium enclosure climate control jobs, TECA’s 24 vdc and 48 vdc input coolers are ideal. The FHP-590 is available for 24 vdc or 48 vdc, allowing for the use of reliable, low maintenance thermoelectric cooling technology in more applications. Cool and maintain NEMA-12/4/4X enclosure ratings and Harsh/Mil Duty enclosure ratings in industries such as communications, military, kiosk, surveillance, food and beverage, transit, coatings, railway signal controls, alarms, automation controls, and more. Protect against equipment failure due to overheating. Choose low maintenance TECA air conditioners for superior performance and reliable climate control. The FHP-590 mounts external to the enclosure, saving space inside for end user’s components.
